Greetings everyone!
Last fall, Groome Transportation began providing airport shuttle service in Minnesota for Executive Express and because of this; many residents of Morris and surrounding communities have been left without the transportation they had relied on for years.
We are excited to be starting a route beginning on April 1 that will run between Alexandria and Morris. This will be a Monday through Friday route, ran on Navy and stopping only at fixed locations in the cities of Alexandria, Glenwood, Starbuck, Cyrus and Morris. Navy will leave Perkins in Alexandria at 9:00 am and return to that same location approximately 11:15 am and leave again at 3:00 pm to return at approximately 5:15 pm. The exact locations and times in each city are yet to be determined. The Navy route will then assist in providing dial a ride transportation in Alexandria between 11:15 am and 3:00 pm.
Another change in regards to this additional service will be to the Alexandria Express Route (better known to us as the Fixed Route). Beginning March 16, Perkins in Alexandria will be an additional stop. You may have already noticed signs in your bus regarding this addition.
