FAQ
Q: I don’t have my CDL or Passenger’s Endorsement. What is my next step?
A: Start studying the CDL manual: https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/dvs/forms-documents/Documents/Commercial%20Drivers%20License%20Manual.pdf and when you feel ready, take your written exam.
Q: Will I be required to have a DOT physical?
A: Yes. You can get a DOT Physical done at most chiropractic locations or through your current physician. This will be money out of your pocket, but you will need this certification upon completion of passing the written permit tests.
Q: I have my CDL, but I don’t have my Passenger’s Endorsement. How will that affect the hiring process?
A: You will need to take the passenger’s endorsement written exam and once you pass, you will obtain your permit for that and the DMV will issue you a temporary license with that endorsement added. You will need to re-take your BTW test, but will be able to do so in one of our buses.
Q: How long does it take from the time I apply to the time I start my job?
A: If we feel you meet the qualifications of the job you applied for, say, in this case, a driver position, our HR person will be in touch with you. If an interview takes place and it is decided to move forward with hiring, it can take up to 3 weeks before your first day.
